Family Work and Homes

The Reid Family spent many years living and working on Farms. The first farm that they owned was when the children were small. It was in Woodland, Utah. The second farm was a small dairy farm located in Kaysville, Utah. Finally, in Tremonton, Utah, the family owned a large dairy farm operation (close to 100 cows) in which they also managed a small store where they pasterized, bottled and sold their milk and a variety of other products.

Between living in Woodland and Kaysville, the family spent many fun years in Centerville, Utah while Wayne ran his produce business called, Kustom Products. It was in Centerville that Merle had her first new home in the city.

After many of the children were raised and moving away from home, Wayne sold the Dairy Farm in Tremonton and became a very successful insurance salesman for Farm Bureau Insurance. This was the time when Merle got to live in her second newly built home in the city.
